Satellite TV receiver X2 HD DVB-S2 (FTA)

X2 HD DVB-S2 (FTA) with IPTV Mini Hybrid Satellite Receiver - New Edition

Satellite TV receiver X2 HD DVB-S2 (FTA)

Would love to give it 5 stars. And I would, but few things make it just a bit short. But there is a hope, maybe with next firmware update...

Satellite TV receiver X2 HD DVB-S2 (FTA)

First few bad things:
1. It has weird red interlacing problem. Any video, sat or Internet, progressive or interlaced, red color differential always two lines are swapped! This is got to be software bug in video processing base code. What makes it weird is that no such image defect is visible for luminance or blue color differential, only red. FYI, I'm using it through HDMI only. This video defect is subtle and most viewers would not be able to figure out why image just not crisp. Well, red interlacing is major factor here. Please see my closeup image of screen where you can clearly see interlacing problems on red and the rest of colors appeared to be finen
2. Often but not always, luminance getting interlacing jitter, for a second or so. Impression is the same as one above, image just not as crisp as other receivers.

Satellite TV receiver X2 HD DVB-S2 (FTA)
3. There is no way to connect to non-broadcasting WiFi. I just happened to have home setup with non-broadcasting routers. Just to test this receiver I have to change my setup. I see absolutely no reason to not have ability to connect to non-broadcasting access point.
4. It runs HOT. I guess this is expected to some degree. I end up hanging it with the wires with all 6 sides getting fresh air flow. Still quite hot. This is most likely will limit life of this receiver. I might cut it pent to add some heat sinks.

Directv Satellite DIRECTV DUAL LNB 18 FOR 18" DISH (1)

One(1) DIRECTV DUAL LNB 18
Genuine DirecTV Product
Excellent isolation with Superior Low Noise
Compatible with DirecTV system
For use with one or two receivers

This listing is for one (1) DirecTV Dual LNB 18 For use with a DirecTv 18-Inch Satellite Dish (Dish not included)

Worked perfectly, with a simple installation. This replacement is made much better than my original LNB purchased with the system 15 years ago in that it has a more watertight housing and the insightful addition of rubber gaskets that snug up around your cable connector. Could not be more pleased, and saved a little cash on service fees. And the bonus! - got the TV back working takes the pressure off coming from the better half. The old saying "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" doesn't come close to describing when her TV is out of service! Omg!

FREE Shipping on orders over $35.

Purchased this dish so that I could have Directv service out in my workshop which is located in the back part of my property. How to Watch Free Live Sports straight through Satellite Tv

In its early years, television relied on sports to grow. Tv manufacturers broadcast sports programs to boost viewer ship so that they could sell more sets. Things have changed and today, we make added payment over subscription fees in order to Watch sports on Tv. We should not. Satellite and cable companies have the habit of imposing pay-per-view on popular sports events, be it boxing, football, tennis or other sports. Computer makers should pull the same trick like Tv before and telecast those sports programs free so there's win-win once again. We can then write off those cable and satellite Tv providers.

Actually, something to that succeed has already long been done. It's Free To Air Internet Tv, where satellite Tv is streamed directly to our computers over the internet. Fta internet Tv is not brought forth by the computer manufacturers though and operates on the aged-old basis of advertisement and sponsorship hold and subsidy. Most of these broadcasters, if not all, have their own targeted agenda. Whatever that may be, we get our sports free in return for Watching their bundle, similarly an aged-old and fair deal.

There's another type of internet Tv providers. They payment a fee for their assistance although the majority of what they stream is Fta sourced. Their value-add is in assembling ready-made internet Tv straight through their specialized and proprietary software and facilitate them to their subscribers which would otherwise be time-consuming and onerous for the individual viewers to go it themselves. Thousands of channels from all over the world comprising across the board genres and not just sports are acceptable features. While a fee is involved, it's one-time for a lifetime.

Another thing about sports on computer is its mobility. With WiFi internet zones getting commonplace nowadays, you can watch that big game live in trains, coffee houses, restaurants or wherever while on travel, at work or Whatever you're engaged in. Being on internet infrastructure, it is also much more solid in terms of bad weather immunity and coverage.

Although the world is flat now as coined by author-journalist Thomas Friedman, time zones will never be. Game time at playing venue may be office, school or bedtime for the viewer so the computer, especially if it's a laptop, will go more handily to where the conventional Tv set would find too bothersome or conspicuous to.
